Looking back on your time at Stout - what was your favorite part of being a freshman? I loved the first few weeks when everyone was meeting new friends and getting adjusted to everything.
Do you have a job on campus or in Menomonie that keeps you busy outside of class time? Tour guide
What is your favorite month of the year? October – it’s not too warm or too cold. I love wearing sweatshirts and jeans to class.
The best book you’ve ever read? The Great Gatsby
Why did you choose to go to Stout?
1. For the interior design program
2. Laptops/book rental
3. Loved the campus
Where do you see yourself in five years? I hope to be working at a job I love.
What is one fun thing to do outside Menomonie and one thing to do inside?
Outside: walk along the Red Cedar Trail or go to Devils Punch Bowl.
If you have friends coming over, what would you cook? I wouldn’t. We’d go to Applebee’s or Acoustic. Otherwise we’d order Jeff’s.
Who has been the biggest influence on you in you life? What lessons did they teach you? My dad. I’ve learned so much about who I want to be and who I don’t want to be from him.
Has college been anything like you imagined it to be when you first started as a freshman? No way. I never thought it would be as much work as it is and definitely never thought I’d be in a sorority. I didn’t think it would go by so fast but its been so much better than I could have hoped.
Are you looking forward to graduating college? What is your dream job? It will be bittersweet. I’m excited about what’s to come but I love what I have here. My dream job is open-ended because I can’t make up my mind about where it would be or what kind of interior design I would do because I love it all!
