Why were you given your particular name? I am 25% Swedish. Britta is a very strong Scandinavian name, which means strong woman. Not water filter!

If money were not an object, what would you do with your life? I would travel the world and experience as many different cultures as I could and find a way to take a little bit from each culture with me.

What place in the US would you most like to visit? Why?
I have three:
Hawaii: to see the volcanoes, learn to hula dance and visit Pearl Harbor.
California: LA, Hollywood (I am a pop culture junky), I also want to go to the San Diego Zoo and Alcatraz.
Alaska: I would love to see the Alaskan wilderness and experience a day without night.

What place outside of the U.S. would you most like to visit? Why? I have been to Athens, Greece; but I would love to go back and visit a few of the Islands. It is beautiful there; pictures do not do it justice.

Desk: messy or organized? Organized chaos. I have two piles, stuff I need to keep that I haven’t put away, and stuff I need to do.

If you could only see black and white except for one color, what color would you choose to see? Green, not only because it is my favorite color, but imagine the world black and white and when you step outside you are bombarded with GREEN! Leaves, trees, grass all of the best parts of the natural world are green.

What was the funniest incident in your college life? It is actually more embarrassing than funny. My last day of Marketing 311, we were giving presentations. As I left my seat to walk to the front of the class I tripped over my too long pants and fell on my knee. I played it off like nothing was wrong but ended up leaving the class in tears. I went to the doctor only to find out I had sprained my knee and had to wear a brace. Needless to say everyone was concerned when I showed up to class with my giant, protruding, knee brace (not noticable at all). I had to explain to everyone, “remember when I fell before my presentation…” yeah. Funny now, not so much then.
