Looking back on your time at Stout - what was your favorite part of being a freshman? My floormates! Its fun because no one knows anyone and you become close right away.  My best friends are still the girls I lived on the same floor as my freshman year!

Do  you have a job on campus or in Menomonie that keeps you busy outside of class time? Yes! I work at the Admissions Office at Stout, and at Sparx restaurant (check it out for some yummy food!).

What is your favorite month of the year? October, you gotta love the colorful and crunch of the leaves! (and February, for my b-day of course!)

The best book you’ve ever read?Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, hands down the best book I have ever read! The Giving Tree comes in a close second.

Why did you choose to go to Stout? Laptops, book rental, location and the type of education!  I love how everything is so hands-on and discussion based!  I am not very good at sitting still or being completely silent for that long so Stout was a great fit!

Where do you see yourself in five years? Hmm… now that’s a loaded question.  Well right now I would like to join the Peace Corps when I graduate, and that is a two-year commitment, so I would probably just be getting back and finding a job.  But really only God knows!

What is one fun thing to do outside Menomonie and one thing to do inside?
Outside: Just outside of Menomonie there is a place called Hoffman Hills hiking trails.  It is a beautiful area, with a tower you can climb that has an AMAZING view!
Inside: Inside would be bowling, or the free movies Stout Blue Devil Productions put on!

Your first "college kiss". How did you meet the lucky one? On campus? Off? Darn right he was lucky! (HA!)  We met through friends, and it was in the dorms, nothing that special.

If you have friends coming over, what would you cook? BROWNIES!!!!

Who has been the biggest influence on you in your life?  What lesson did they teach you?Definitely my family, they have all taught me so much in my life and encouraged me to be me.  But some things will never leave me that my mom and dad have taught me.
Lessons from my mom: always smile, mind your P’s & Q’s, if you’re going to hoot with the owls you have to soar with the eagles, and put others first.
Lessons from my dad:  Live below your means, and know the magic of compound interest!

Has college been anything like you imagined it to be when you first started as a freshman?

A. Yes
B. No
C. Way better than I could have imagined
D. All the above

I choose D! It is amazing here, I can’t believe the experiences I have had and the people I have met so far along my journey here.

Are you looking forward to graduating college? What is your dream job? NO! I'm not sure I want to leave yet, I love it here and love learning, I might just go to grad school here, who knows. Dream job? How does a TGFL sound, that is tour guide for life? But in seriousness, I just want a job where I can work closely with people and helping them.
