UW-Stout, along with the Stout University Foundation, sponsors a scholarship program for incoming freshmen, sophomores, freshmen transfers and sophomore transfers to support the e-Scholar program. These scholarships are need-based, requiring a financial aid application and a foundation scholarship application. Scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded to financially needy freshmen and sophomores admitted in the laptop program and meeting the scholarship requirements.
In addition, freshmen and sophomores must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by the priority date of March 15, 2008.
