Yes, the UW-Stout campus is very safe. The campus is well lit and we have the Campus Police which do an excellent job of patrolling campus. Along with the Campus Police the Housing Office does a great job of making sure that the residence halls are safe.

 I'd have to agree.  Our campus is very safe.  There are overnightstudent 'security' teams all night walking around campus, and the city of Menomonie/our campus is patrolled extremely well.  Every student knows you can't drive from South Menomonie to North Menomonie without seeing at least one patrol car.  Any emergency call has an officer there within 1-2 minutes and I'm not exaggerating.  Menomonie also has a full-time paramedic level fire department that is literally across the street.  They too are at calls within a minute or two right behind the patrol officer.  Our emergency response is top notch.
